1. [Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

This EP release is a handful of demos/outtakes that I’ve collected over the long enduring course of working on my forthcoming full-length album. It’s been quite sometime since my last release so I figured I would make these available to all of you for your enjoyment. You can purchase the EP for just $3 at the buy link (via Bandcamp). I hope you enjoy the tracks! Thanks as always for listening, and thanks a bunch for your support!

Hey there everyone! I’ve made available an older track entitled “Interday” from near the Muse in the Machine-era for streaming and download. You can get more info about the track and listen/download it at the Soundcloud page.

  5. Ltd. T-shirt packages available for purchase!

I’ve put together a couple limited edition t-shirt packages on my Bandcamp for all of you. Especially the ones who live out too far to see me play live.

The packages come with a t-shirt and my debut album “The Muse in the Machine” in your choice of CD or digital.

I will not be doing another run of shirts with this design, and there’s a limited quantity. They will be out on a first come first served basis. So, get them while they last!

The packages are listed (and with photos and a bit more info) on the Bandcamp page for The Muse in the Machine here: http://candlenine.bandcamp.com/album/the-muse-in-the-machine

    Hope you enjoy!

  6. Long time gone…

So, the machine I use for updating and working with my website has gone done, and over time trying to get it back up, I’ve let this site fall to the way side. Anyway, I’m going to be redoing the website over time. In the meantime, that is what has brought you here.

When I finish the new website, I’ll work on integrating this Tumblr blog into the news feed. So, that this will be the official channel for the news on my site. If I can’t pull it off, I’ll mirror all my posts that happen in the feed to this blog. So, don’t worry about missing out if you subscribe to this blog via RSS or Tumblr itself.

For the time being, you can still view the old archive of posts by following this link: http://www.candlenine.com/Candle_Nine/News/News.html

Anyway, without further ado, here’s a couple things you may have missed while I’ve been away from the site:

I have a show coming up in the Boston area!

The show is $10 at the door for those ages 21 and up! It’s sure to be a blast and I hope to meet a lot of you guys from the area!

Also, Tympanik Audio has set up their very own Bandcamp page. So, you can follow this link to stream all of my debut album The Muse in the Machinehttp://tympanikaudio.bandcamp.com/album/the-muse-in-the-machine

Purchasing options are all there, of course, and as an added awesome bonus, if you purchase the CD through the Bandcamp you can receive a download of the album so that you can listen to it immediately!

Also, a while back when I reached 5000 listeners on Soundcloud (I’m now at over 7000! Wow! Thanks everyone for listening!), I uploaded a free downloadable track entitled Enceladus Weeps to my Soundcloud page as thanks to all of you! You can check that out right here: http://soundcloud.com/candle-nine/enceladus-weeps

Also, the French music e-zine Chroniques électroniques released a wonderful compilation called When the Light’s Drillin’ the Haze featuring Undermathic, Access to Arasaka, Dirk Geiger, Pleq & Nebulo, Defrag, and a bunch of awesome artists. I also am honored to have a track featured on the compilation: “Sketched On Canvas”. Head over and pick up the whole download here: http://www.chroniqueselectroniques.net/pages/Compilation_Chroniques_electroniques-5024351.html

And in the last bit of ear candy news, Dirk Geiger released a free collection of remixes entitled Second Life which is also available as a free download, and my rendition of his track “Night in Haskovo” is included on the album. Check out the release page for Second Life right here: http://tympanikaudio.com/releases/td009/

Phew! That was a lot to take in I’m sure, but hopefully with this blog, I won’t subject you guys to as much information overload.

Hope you’re all doing well, and as always: Thanks for listening!
